From the White Mountains of New Hampshire comes a unique blend of harmonies and guitars from the duo of Kathy Bennett and Thom Perkins. The pair performs a startling array of original songs with powerful lyrics and melodies, coupled with exceptionally strong vocals and guitar playing. The duo released their second CD in September 2012. Entitled "House on Fire, the album is a powerful collection of original songs and a natural continuation of their music from their first CD "The Kitchen Music Sessions" (2010).

The Island Concert Tour

The last two Bennett and Perkins Island Concert Tour performances are this Saturday July 27th - Vinalhaven Island, Carver's Harbor 7:00 pm at the Church and Tuesday July 30th - Frenchboro, Long Island - at the Off Shore Store 7:00 pm with a Lobster Bake at 6:30 pm.

Over the years as I (Thom) visited these islands by my sailboat, I was offered hospitality and I wanted to offer something back.  Over the winter, we reached out to several island communities offering to play concerts this summer and the Island Concert Tour came together.  The Great Cranberry Island and North Haven Island concerts were well received and we had a great time.  Kathy and I expect Vinalhaven and Frenchboro will be the same.
